Cheshire Sheep Yarn contains wool from our flock, as well as our friends and neighbors in Cheshire County. It is washed and picked on our farm and is spun for us at Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney, Vermont. It comes back to the farm where it is kettle-dyed in small lots. Cheshire Sheep Yarn is available in three natural (undyed) colors: Brown, Oatmeal, and White, five solid (kettel-dyed) colors: Raspberry, Cranberry, Blueberry, Purple Iris, and Moss, and one "dyed-in-the-wool" heather color: Teal. Sold in 4 oz skeins with approximately 232 yards per skein.
When ordering, please be sure to order enough for your project as dye lots may vary.
